In short

Asylum Court Practice (庇护法庭模拟) lets you rehearse a U.S. immigration court hearing or a USCIS asylum interview. There are no accounts. Your documents, timeline, evidence and practice records stay on your iPhone. To ask questions and interpret your answers, the app sends the text needed for that step to our server, which passes it to Google's AI and keeps none of it.

What stays on your iPhone

The text of the pages you import, your timeline, evidence photos and files, practice sessions, debriefs, the lawyer checklist and your settings. They are stored with iOS complete file protection and are kept out of iCloud and computer backups. We do not receive them or sync them.

Settings › Privacy › Delete all rehearsal records removes them. Deleting the app removes them too.

You choose how much the app knows

When you start, you pick one of three levels and can change it at any time. Moving to a level that keeps less deletes what that level does not keep, after you confirm.

What is sent, and when

Our server runs on Supabase. It passes this content to Google's AI services (Vertex AI and the Gemini API) and returns the result. It does not store the content or write it to any log. Google processes it under its terms for these services and may keep it for a limited time to prevent abuse. We do not use your content to train any model.

What our server keeps

No content. To enforce daily limits, it keeps a daily count keyed by a one-way hash of a random install ID created on your iPhone, and by a one-way hash of your network address. Its logs record the action, a result code, which AI route answered and how long it took. Our hosting provider records standard request information, such as time and network address, in its own logs for a short period.

Purchases

Apple handles payment. To unlock features, the app sends Apple's signed record of your hearing pass with requests; our server checks Apple's signature, the product and the dates, and keeps nothing. We never see your name, Apple ID or payment details. Refunds are handled by Apple.

No tracking

No advertising, no tracking across apps or websites, and no third-party analytics.

Face ID

If you turn on the lock, iOS checks Face ID or your passcode. The app only learns whether it succeeded.

Practice records and legal proceedings

Practice records on your iPhone may be requested in legal proceedings. If you do not want to keep them, turn on practice without a trace, or delete them at any time.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13.

Changes and contact

We will update this page when the app's handling of data changes, with a new date at the top. Questions: gwsiny@gmail.com.
